What is , will be
Take a deep breath.
Become a witness to your current state.
Notice what you notice.
What is showing up for you?
What do you need?
As we start to transition from this new season into the darker days, carve out time for stillness. It is in the stillness that clarity and our true essence may bubble up to the surface.
Do you know who you are?
No, not what you do, not what you like, but intuitively that deep connection to self.
As humans in this day and age, we often associate who we are with what we do for work, or what material things we hold close to us that bring about some sort of “status” in the world.
Especially now as the tables turn and life becomes extremely unaffordable for most people, we are at a crossroads.
Our society preys on the distracted and the weak to fill our brains with overstimulation to distract us from who we really are.
It is from that space of quietude that we can connect to deeper meanings and purpose. We can start to uncover our dharma or duty on this earth.
Without protected time for stillness, space, and the inevitable discomfort, we will get lost in what ever life (and society) throws at us.
This space I am referring to is not a luxury, it is a human right and a foundational need.
The excuse “ I don’t have time” is BS, check your screen time my friend.
It takes awareness, discipline, and a willingness to transcend the old patterns, habits, and person you once were. If this path was easy, everyone would be doing it. Believe me, it is much easier to fold in on oneself and become a zombie addicted to a rectangle.
The hopeful sentiment is that you have the ability to shift and create your reality, particularly your internal landscape. It starts in stillness, reading, gathering clarity and ideas, getting a taste of your true essence. Take a walk in the woods, go be in mama nature. Soak in her wisdom and see what happens.
